Position summary: This position supports the coordination and administration of the H-2B program company-wide by coordinating, researching, and traveling throughout designated H-2B states (50%), and supporting other HR projects and regions (50%).  This position will be based remotely within Nashville, TN and will report to the HR Business Partner.

The position requires 3 years of global recruiting and Visa processing experience. Ability to speak, read, and write, is a requirement due to the language of most candidates and hires. This role requires in-depth knowledge of local standards and specifications, as well as department of labor processes and timelines.  

Major Functions of the Job       
1.    Self-starter who can work independently and effectively schedule of work and travel (up to 50%) to maximize the workday and meet deadlines.
2.    Perform a variety of H-2B tasks while communicating effectively with several stakeholders, internal and external, to include:
a.        Must be able to conduct full cycle recruiting, focusing on conducting Spanish phone interviews
b.        Remain in constant communication with candidates via phone and email on status of recruiting plan
c.        Coordinate or Run background reports, drug screens, and coordinate travel for candidates inbound and outbound.
d.        Oversee and coordinate new housing research, and manage all questions/ issues between landlord and tenants. 
e.       Review and monitor routine operations program with manager and review production rates
f.        Coordinate with fleet manager specialty equipment and vehicle orders, and if applicable, sharing/utilization and scheduling of equipment i.e. mulch truck. 
g.        Process related invoices and allocations 
h.       Schedule and complete routine project visits to monitor housing conditions and inspections, primarily traveling via airplane or motor vehicle.
i.       Operate as a Centralized contact person for multi-state H-2B questions from both Managers and employees 
j.        Develop strong customer service-oriented relationships with project personnel.
k.       Review 3/4ths rule compliance by reviewing monthly timesheet hours reports for all H-2B employees. 
3.        Regularly meet with attorney or paralegal to ensure compliance and submit required filing documents.
4.        Continuously train leadership, managers, and technicians in the most effective program and application  methods and techniques. Communicate solutions and deliver solutions in Teams Meeting format.
5.       Excellent organization skills applied by prioritizing, along with attention to detail, problem-solving, and excellent general computer skills (MS functions).  
6.       Excellent customer service skills along with strong oral and written communication skills. (English and Spanish required)
7.        Follow all site safety precautions and procedures and maintain a secure job site to eliminate potential safety hazards. 
8.        Maintain valid driver license during the duration of the work period and safely operate company owned vehicles and/or rental cars.

Minor Functions of the Job
1.    Update and distribute end of year H-2B survey
2.    Review program cost with controller and present to leadership team about 4-5 months into the season. 
3.    Coordinate Fleet needs with VP and Fleet director for all new locations in Q4
4.    Participate in weekly safety meetings and required training.
5.    Be a dependable and reliable member of the team.
6.    Show initiative; seek out work and get the job done without being told.
7.    Provide assistance to other HR team members as necessary.
8.    Communicate clearly with supervisors and other team members.

Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors
1.    Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds repeatedly.
2.    Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time

Qualifications 
•    High School Diploma or GED required; college courses preferred
•    Speak, read, write and comprehend the English and Spanish language. Neat and legible handwriting skills
•    Demonstrated effective leadership abilities
•    Maintain company standards for background checks (i.e.  criminal record, driving record and controlled substance/drug testing)
•    Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations
•    Perform basic math skills including calculations using fractions, percent, and/ratios 
•    Read and understand manuals, write documents following prescribed formats
Maintain proper safety equipment required for each job
•    Neat, clean and presentable appearance
•    Knowledge and ability to adapt to the latest technology
•    Ability to use smart phone and applications, with excellent phone etiquette
•    Ability to adjust to changing work schedule 
Clean driving record is essential
Must pass criminal background check


Schedule:
This is a full-time position, typically Monday-Friday, and as business needs arise during months of required H-2B program deadlines. Must be able to travel 50% of the time, primarily within Tennessee, Texas, Florida, and Colorado, but occasionally within other US regions.
