Position Summary: The company is currently seeking a full-time Facility Project Manager. The role is directly responsible for project profitability, daily operations and client partnering. This position is part of our upper-level management and responsibilities include but are not limited to project financial performance, client relations, operational improvements and site staff management. This opportunity oversees a number of Southern Florida locations.
We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a seasoned in-depth facility management background. We require dependability and a lead by example team player. Candidates with a high degree of customer service, client relations and a commitment for continuous improvement. The preferred candidate will be responsible for the daily operations, direct and indirect Vendor Management, Contract Requirements / Performance Standards, Organizational Structure and Staffing. Work Plans and Budgets, Reporting, and staff development are some key requirements. The candidate will assist in developing project financial plans and budgets. Manage staff and subcontractors and other supervisory activities as assigned. If you are customer service oriented, a self-starter, reliable, flexible, professional, able to make informed business decisions, and eager to learn new techniques then you are the perfect addition to our team.
Experience and Skills required:
- Minium four-year degree in business management or mechanical HVAC
- A minimum 5-years related experience with a technical background (maintenance management / facility management)
- Must have current or past membership in one or more of the following, IFMA, BOMI, PMI, SMRP, IASS,ASHRAE
- Detailed understanding of financial statements and how to manage them
- Creative and innovative team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Proven ability to have a planned and systematic approach to time management, project management, and problem-solving
- Strong communication skills, able to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language.
- Understanding of Spanish is a plus
- Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate a message in a clear and precise way
- Ability to negotiate contracts
- Ability to manage conflict resolution in a professional manner
- Strong HR skills and a genuine interest in the development and success of our employees
- Fanatical customer service and client-focused.
- Demonstrated effective leadership abilities
Schedule:
Full-time; 40 hours a week; Day shift, Monday through Friday. Must be able to work nights and weekends if required. This position is considered as essential personnel and be available 24/7, as needed.
Salary:
Based on experience, plus benefits.
