Position Summary: Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is currently seeking Dedicated Full-time Debris Removal Technician to perform advanced maintenance operations in the East Bexar County Area during the Night shift. This position requires performing a variety of tasks related to highway drainage maintenance and TMA driving, and adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Jorgensen Company policies and procedures.

San Antonio, TX.
Required Experience:
- Must know how to operate chainsaw
- TMA driving (1 year experience)
- Exposure to using shovels, weed trimming machinery, brooms, & various small hand tools
- Minimum 2 years of related experience preferred but not required
- Construction or Roadway maintenance experience
- MOT (Traffic control certifications/courses)
- Wheel Loader, Skidsteer, Fork Lift, Asphalt Roller, etc operator
- Roadway maintenance experience-preferred but not required
- CDL license a plus
- Bilingual: English/Spanish (read/write) preferred but not required
- Clean driving record is essential
- Must pass criminal background check
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Maintain company standards for background checks (i.e. criminal record, driving record and controlled substance/drug testing)
- Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations
- Carry out simple arithmetic functions
- Maintain proper safety equipment required for each job
- Knowledge and ability to adapt to the latest technology
- Ability to use smart phone and applications
- Ability to adjust to changing work schedule
- Ability to work safely under ranging environmental and weather conditions
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
- Ability to operate hand/power tools
Salary:
Starting at $15.00/hr with no experience required. Higher compensation is available depending on candidate experience and certifications.
Schedule:
Full time; Night shift. Must be able to work weather events such as snow, ice, and floods. Must also be flexible to work rotating shifts according to client requests, including day shift.
Night shift hours are 7pm - 5am
