Landscaper / Groundskeeper Position

Roy Jorgensen associates Inc (Jorgensen) is a leader in maintenance and operations throughout the United States. For over 60 years Jorgensen has provided a diverse range of facilities and highway infrastructure, maintenance and operation services. Our firm is focused on the operation and maintenance of state landscaped locations throughout Florida. Our maintenance crews are comprised of Landscapers, Painters, Plumbers, General Maintenance, HVAC and Electrical Technicians.

Position summary: Roy Jorgensen Associates Inc is currently seeking a full-time landscaper / grounds technician. This position is responsible for maintaining landscaped and grass areas at designated sites and locations. Conducting work to ensure safety of themselves and traveling public. We will provide training for the right individual. The position will support locations in the mid to Southern Florida areas. Jobsite transportation will be provided.

Experience and skills required:

• Operate ride-on-mower
• gas powered weed wacker
• Back-Pac blower
• May require minimum one-year related experience (mowing, weed eating, litter removal, and irrigation repair)
• Ability to work outdoors
• Independent work ability
• Self-starter and able to follow directions

SCHEDULE: full-time, day shift Monday through Friday, overtime as required and occasional weekends.
