FACILITY MANAGEMENT – PROGRAM MANAGER

Position Summary: The company is currently seeking a full-time facilities program manager. This position is directly responsible for the profitability and reputation of the company on a day-to-day basis. This position is part of our upper-level management and responsibilities include but are not limited to vendor management, client relations, annual budgeting (develop and implement), HR and business development. The position will support the state of Wisconsin.

The company desires an individual with a high degree of focus on customer service and client relations and an aptitude for facilities program maintenance management. The preferred candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and focus on all aspects of the account, including an understanding of the Scope of Services, Contract Requirements / Performance Standards, Organizational Structure and Staffing Allocation, Work Plans and Budgets (Monthly, Annual), Vendor Management, CMMS management, Reporting (Internal / External), Quality Control Program, and Training Program. This candidate will be dependable and lead by example when conducting business for the company (professional, responsive, and quality-driven) and communicate these values to their staff at all levels. The candidate will assist in developing work plans and budgets. Manage staff and subcontractors and other supervisory activities as assigned. Be customer service oriented, a self-starter, reliable, flexible, conduct themselves professionally, be able to make informed decisions, and be willing to learn. Candidate should be able to work with subcontractors to obtain proposals for repairs/replacements as needed. A company vehicle will be provided.

Experience and Skills required:

  • Requires minimum 5-10 yrs. related experience with a management background (construction or maintenance management) Prefer public sector experience
  • Detailed understanding of financial statements and how to manage them
  • Creative and innovative team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Proven ability to have a planned and systematic approach to time management, project management, and problem-solving
  • Strong communication skills, oral and written skills
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate a message in a clear and precise way
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage conflict resolution in a professional manner
  • Strong HR skills and a genuine interest in the development and success of our employees
  • Fanatical customer service and client focused.
  • Understanding of field operations and applicable standards and specifications
  • Speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language

  • Neat, clean, and presentable appearance
  • Computer and hand-held device skills, (email, scheduling, maintenance management, work order & PMs)


Schedule:
Full-time; 40 hours a week; Day shift, Monday through Friday. Must be able to work nights and weekends if required. This position is considered as essential personnel and be available 24/7, as needed.

Salary:
Based on experience, plus benefits.
