Position summary: Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Regional Manager to oversee regional maintenance operations in Central Colorado. This position requires knowledge and experience overseeing a variety of tasks related to highway maintenance including incident response and adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Jorgensen Company policies and procedures. Regional manager will be responsivle for completeing assigned KPI's, budgets, and work plans.

Salary: $145,000 to $170,000 depending on licenses, certifications, and experience. 

Schedule:
Full time.  Must be flexible and available to work on-call when required which may require night and weekend work. Ability to travel within the State (approx. 25%) and occasionally outside the State.


Responsibilities: 
Complete assigned KPI's, budgets, and work plans. Lead projects responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to highway maintenance.  MUST be flexible and able to work on-call, weekends, and nights when necessary.   Highway maintenance tasks include, but not limited to:
  • Incident Response & Service Patrol
  • Road Patrol & Debris Removal
  • Guardrail Repair
  • Heavy equipment operation
  • Sign Repair
  • Lighting Repair 
  • Pavement Repair
  • Bridge Maintenance
Preferred Experience:
  • Roadway maintenance management or construction management experience
  • PM certifications and training
  • MOT/TTC Certifications
  • Familiarity with DOT contract operations
  • PE certificate with reciprocity
  • Technical experience with earthworks, landscaping, road construction, bridge maintenance, stormwater drainage maintenance
Clean driving record is essential
Must pass criminal background check
Finger Printing required, provided by Company


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent, ABET-accredited university 
  • Minimum 10 years experience with roadway maintenance, project management, team leadership, or direct client facing responsibilities
  • Experience in project estimating for bid and proposals
  • Highly efficient organizational skills in a multi-faceted long-term project environment
  • Must be able to review and understand RJA's financial statements
  • Must be able to understand, read, and analyze annual Budgets and Work Plans
  • Read and understand manuals, plans, specifications, and write documents following prescribed formats
  • Maintain company standards for background checks (i.e. criminal record, driving record and controlled substance/drug testing)
  • Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations
  • Carry out advanced arithmetic functions
  • Maintain proper safety equipment required for each job
  • Knowledge and ability to adapt to the latest technology
  • Ability to use smart phone and applications
  • Ability to adjust to changing work schedule
  • Ability to work safely under ranging environmental and weather conditions
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and perform manual labor
  • Ability to operate hand/power tools
