Job Description

 

Immediate opening for an experienced Building Engineer to support a unique Irvine site.

 

Seeking an individual with a demonstrated technical aptitude for operating, trouble shooting, diagnosing, and executing the correct repairs for specialty lighting, interior finishes and mechanical systems.

 

Must be very customer oriented, reliable, a self starter, have a professional manner, be able to make informed decisions, and have a willingness to learn.

 

TI experience a plus.

Job Requirements

 

  • Minimum 5 years related experience with all facets of building maintenance:

    • HVAC (troubleshoot VAV systems - Navigate BAS)

    • Electrical (changing ballasts/lamps)

    • Plumbing (minor repair of toilets and sinks)

    • Painting (touch-ups)

    • General repairs (door hardware, misc building systems)

  • Excellent with vendor relations and documenting all work in building

  • Driver license and a good driving record

  • Reliability and flexibility

  • Excellent communication skills including speaking and understanding English well

  • Adept in use of a smartphone, especially for sending/ receiving email and photos and using apps

  • Basic computer skills including computerized maintenance management systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • Working experience with OSHA and ISO preferred

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision as part of a national team.
