Regional Safety Specialist

• Full Time Position

• Primary Office in Houston, TX. Will identify upon hire

• 75% of the work day will require field work and travel within the south Texas area. Occasional travel requiring overnight stays

• The job requires a self-starter, that can work alone and be productive with minimal direct oversight

• Computer skills desired. Word, excel, and network fleet GPS tracking

• The job requires the capability of developing safety reports, updating spreadsheets

• Coordinator will communicate and report directly to the Texas Regional Safety manager

• Spanish-Bilingual, required

• Must maintain a clean driving record

• Pay raise will be discussed at offer letter

Primary role of conducting field safety inspections, project safety audits, training project employees in various safety and OSHA related topics related. Launching the safety program that will include:

• Site inspections

• Teaching driving techniques

• Reviewing monitoring cameras

• Monitoring the GPS program and identifying at risk drivers

• Conducting safety talks

The job requires work schedule flexibility to work night shifts, and occasional weekend shifts.

Must be able to communicate well with others and win their trust.
