Position summary: Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time  Facilities Project Coordinator in the Dallas, TX area.

Responsibilities
:

  • Own the project scheduling for multiple projects at a given time

  • Prepare and distribute Project Status Reports to Contractors and Customer

  • Track invoices from General Contractor and rectify discrepancies.

  • COI/Subcontractor agreement tracking

  • Close out documents with photo recap of before/after

  • Submittal verifications-RFI’s Tracking

  • Box/File Management

  • Be responsible for taking meeting minutes

  • Customer/Client Post project surveys

  • Be responsible to post Go Live “Wish List.”
  • Be responsible to track punch list/operations “Hands Off”
  • Have the ability to coordinate small project refreshes (Carpet, Paint, graphics)
  • Travel 30%

Start date expected in February 2018


Required Experience:
Minimum 5 years of project management experience
Experience with database management systems
Skilled in establishing priorities and managing heavy workloads
Excellent verbal and written skills

Preferred Experience:
Experience with Microsoft office products
Construction Project Management in the area of Tennant Improvements

Qualifications:
High School Diploma, some college courses required with College Degree preferred
Maintain company standards for background checks (i.e. criminal record, driving record and controlled substance/drug testing)

Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate a message in a clear and precise way

Strong negotiation skills

Skill in establishing priorities and managing workloads
Knowledge and ability to adapt to the latest technology
Ability to use smart phone and applications
Ability to adjust to changing work schedule
Read and understand manuals and contracts, write documents following prescribed formats
Understand multi-step written and oral instructions
Self-starter who can work independently
Dependable and highly organized with business and maturity, discretion, enthusiasm, and positive attitude.

Schedule:
Full time
