Position summary: Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Project Manager to manage and oversee maintenance operations.  The project is a multi-year, performance-based, transportation asset management contract with DOT.  The Project Manager will work closely with the local project supervisors, project administrative staff, and the Regional Manager.  The Project Manager will manage field operations including maintenance staff and subcontractors, vehicles and equipment, and material resources on the project to ensure our work is being completed on-time, on-budget, meets quality standards, meets expectations of the client, and adheres to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Jorgensen Company policies and procedures.

Required Experience:
Minimum 5+ years prior operations, maintenance, and construction experience within transportation roadway, bridge, and facility assets
Minimum 3+ years managerial experience
Experience managing large workforce, vendors, subcontractors, equipment, and material resources


Preferred Experience:
Maintenance Of Traffic (MOT) Certifications
Professional Engineer License

Clean driving record is essential
Must pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of directly related work experience
Ability to comply with and execute the company safety, health, and environmental policy
MOT Certifications preferred
Demonstrated effective leadership abilities
Effective scheduling of multiple crews with support setting up travel arrangements
Microsoft Office knowledge
Ability to write and verbally communicate in English with employees, clients, and customers
Maintain company standards for background checks (i.e. criminal record, driving record and controlled substance/drug testing)
Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations
Ability to manage budgets and financials
Knowledge and ability to adapt to the latest technology
Ability to use smart phone and applications
Ability to adjust to changing work schedule
Ability to work safely both in-doors and outside under varying terrain and environmental weather conditions
Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds; strenuous manual labor may be required
Knowledge of mechanics and operation of hand/power tools and equipment

 
Schedule:
Regular, Full time; Must be flexible and able to respond to after-hour emergency call-back situations
