Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Project Manager to manage and oversee maintenance operations based in the Richmond Virginia area. The project is a regionally based, consisting of self-performed Operations and Maintenance on the Richmond Metropolitan Transportation Authority (RMTA) Expressway. The Project Manager will work closely with the local project managers, project coordinators, the Regional Managers and other regional staff. The Project Manager will manage field operations including maintenance staff and subcontractors, vehicles and equipment, and material resources on the project to ensure our work is being completed on-time, on-budget, meets quality standards, meets expectations of the client, and adheres to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Jorgensen Company policies and procedures.

This position will also contain some Estimator responsibilities. This includes actively seeking relevant jobs with local and state municipalities, procuring and understanding the contract, accurately estimating time, labor, equipment and materials to complete the job and working the numbers with regional and upper management to put out the most effective bid. This position will also include providing support in other Regions and pursuing other project opportunities and assisting in preparing Technical Proposals.

This position will also contain some Project Engineer responsibilities. This includes contract management, subcontractor negotiation and oversight, technical analysis for special projects, researching new industry/technology, drafting SOPs for maintenance procedures and other analysis related tasks.

Required Experience:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent years of directly related work experience

Preferred Experience:
Roadway maintenance experience
MOT Certifications
Bilingual or willingness to learn a plus
