Position summary: Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is currently seeking full-time CDL DRIVER to operate our mobile barrier and other vehicles during our maintenance operations on the I-495 & I-95 Express Lanes project in Northern Virginia. This position requires performing a variety of tasks related to operating and maintaining commercial/company vehicles and adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Jorgensen company policies and procedures. This position will also be required to assist in completing roadway maintenance tasks such as asphalt repairs, drainage cleaning, concrete repairs, vegetation clearing, sign repairs, debris removal, etc.

Required Experience:

Class A or B CDL
Minimum 2+ years’ experience operating commercial vehicles

Preferred Experience:

Roadway Maintenance experience

Maintenance of Traffic experience

Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED

Maintain company standards for background checks (i.e. criminal record, driving record and controlled substance/drug testing)

Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations

Maintain proper safety equipment required for each job

Knowledge and ability to adapt to the latest technology

Ability to use smart phone and applications

Ability to adjust to changing work schedule

Ability to work safely under ranging environmental and weather conditions

Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds; strenuous manual labor may be required

Ability to operate hand/power tools

Schedule:
Full time; Sunday – Friday 08:00 PM – 04:00 AM (Night Shift) MUST ALSO BE FLEXIBLE TO WORK DAY OR WEEKENDS IF NEEDED.
